Sumario:Dental fluorosis is an irreversible alternation of the tooth structure, characterized by areas with hypomineralization, as a result of the excessive intake of fluoride during the odontogeny. In the department of Lavalle, Mendoza (Argentina), fluoride concentration in domestic water is higher than it should. There are several methods for classifying the severity of dental fluorosis. Actually, different clinical techniques can be chosen; however, the correct choice of the treatment depends mainly on the suitable assessment of the severity of the pathology. For a clinical case about a patient with severe fluorosis background, it was chosen, as an alternative of the treatment, a technique of direct restauration with composite resin
