Sumario:Many of the politics's transformations and of the democratic operation are attributed to a growing process, in the last years, of massmediatization. These transformations are evaluated negatively in two senses: comparatively, in relation to a stadium of the democracy with citizens fully involved, in which the political scene was not dominated by the TV; and also accusing to the media of to gobble the world, in consequence, accusing to the TV of to gobble to the politics. In this article the phenomenon is analyzed locating it in the context of some cultural, economic and anthropological transformations in order to overcome the easy and mechanical condemnation, product of a look centered in the omnipotence of the media.
