Sumario: | It is cited a new plant pathogen,
Peronospora parasitica (Pers. ex Fr.) Fr. in cauliflower [Brassica oteracea var. botrytis
L. subv. cau/if/ora ( Gars) Oc.], in cabbage (Brassica o/eracea var. capitata L.) and
bróccoli (Brassica o/eracea var. botrylis L. subv. cymosa Lamk) in orchard from
Mendoza (Argentina). The disease attacks leaves, stems and inflorescences provoking
serious defects in the seedbeds and definitive cultures. This promotes an anticipated death
of seedlings affecting, like cauliflower, the commercial value and yields Microscopic
observations, histological cuts and pathogenicity test were effected It is informed, besides, about epidemiological and etiological aspects. |
