Sumario: | Franca Rame and Dario Fo, through humor and realistically, present in their theatrical monologue “El despertar” the situation of a doubly exploited woman: at home and at work. In this historical context, with access to the world of work, women gain some independence but are forced to complete an endless day of activities, going from the demands of the boss to those of the husband. We will make a reading of the work taking into account the postulates of Marx regarding the levels of alienation of the capitalist mode of production and those of Simone De Beauvoir on the condition of women and motherhood. |
