Sumario:Health is a key determinant of the economic well-being of people, as reflected in the Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3) of the United Nations (UN) which pursues ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. While it is true that more people today have healthier lives than they had decades ago, it is also true that there are still those who unnecessarily suffer from infectious diseases, diseases of preventable causes, those who consume increasing amounts of psychoactive substances, and many of them die prematurely. To overcome diseases and insufficient health, not only concerted and sustained efforts are required to guarantee health coverage, but also information that allows identifying the most affected population groups and regions. It is precisely this last that gives rise to the present project that aims, on the one hand, to deepen the knowledge on the factors that influence and characterize the unhealthy behaviors in the population in general and in some population groups in particular, and on the other hand to contribute to knowledge about how eHealth tools cooperate with epidemiology, prevention and treatment, particularly diseases associated with studied behaviors. It is proposed to continue with the lines of research of the previous calls, related to the consumption of psychoactive substances and sexual risk behaviors, and incorporating new sources of statistical information. For this, it is essential to make strategic alliances with the Observatorio Argentino de Drogas, the Observatorio de Drogas of the Facultad de Ciencias Médicas (UNCuyo) and the Instituto de Economía y Finanzas of the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (IEF, FCE, UNC). In the latter case, and as an initiative of the research team led by Dr. Mariana de Santis, it has been proposed to participate in an experiment that will gather information on the consumption of psychoactive substances and risk perception in the student population.
