| Sumario: | Health Surveillance is the collection, analysis, interpretation and dissemination, in a systematic and constant way, of specific data on health-disease events in a population to be used in the planning, execution and evaluation of public health.
This document is the result of a bibliographic review that allows us to know some tools that the Public Health of our country has to carry out said surveillance in the population.
The information obtained makes it possible to direct promotion, prevention and control actions, strengthening the response capacity of care services in articular and of the health sector as a whole. Being alert to these health problems helps the system to be better prepared and to be able to provide people with access to resources for an acceptable standard of living,
