Sumario: | Graft versus host disease (GVHD) is a multiorgan disorder caused by the transfer of hematopoietic stem cells from a donor to a recipient host. It can be acute or chronic depending on the time of evolution. In both cases, 80% present cutaneous manifestations. Regarding chronic evolution, it can be observed in the clinical and histological presentation lichenoid pattern or sclerodermiform pattern. The diagnosis is based mainly on the patient's history, the clinic and histology. There is no standardized treatment for this pathology, however corticosteroid therapy and phototherapy have been described as therapeutic options, and in some cases the use of monoclonal antibody may be preferred. |
