Sumario:One of the main challenges in Civil Engineering is the development of innovative concepts of design, to protect the structures, their residents and content efficiently, of the destructive forces effects such as earthquakes. Keeping in mind that Argentine has 83% of its surface in areas of seismic risk and that these devices provide improvement in performance and security, the task of carrying out a project that pursues the technological development in this area, enlarge the frontiers of the knowledge and diffuse the state of the art is considered important. This investigation project, framed in the structural engineering area (dynamics of structures) has the purpose of developing protection technologies based on dissipating energy devices and a methodology to analyze this kind of structures.
