Sumario: | In this paper we propose reviewing some poetic values of
the three recently published books by Argentine-Italian
poet Francesca Lo Bue: “Pedro Marciano”, “Por la palabra,
la emoción” and “Non te ne sei mai andato” (“Nada se ha
ido”), which are closely related by the repetition of
themes and poetic intuitions, although with different
nuances and intensity. The texts in question express the
human concern that originates from and nourishes poetic
expression, concern born from the pain of exile and its
subsequent uprooting, from the loss both of the homeland
where vital past experiences reside and of the mother
tongue, fundamental to identity. Poetry, by means of words
which are essentially demiurgic, rescues the poet from
her existential emptiness, recovering her memories and
emotions, the past which seems to have gone but lives on in
her inmost self. |
