Sumario: | At the stage of the Confederation Rosas, the southern border of Cordoba set up a war front with ranqueles, the main reasons for fighting the territory and livestock. However, there were several attempts to arrange peace. When this happened, numerous commissions or Ranqueline fleets they arrived at the Villa de la Concepción del Río Cuarto find the stipulated rations, exchange goods, cure their illnesses, etc. The flow was interrupted only when the fighting (raids, armed expeditions) is resumed. The paper is intended to reconstruct the routes followed by these delegations that, in some cases, were composed of Indians from the western slopes of the Andes. The movement of these fleets and goods exchanged or received as meals allows to approach the characteristics of interethnic relations ranqueles and the Government of Cordoba at a time of high political tension in the Confederation Rosas. |
