Sumario: | This article aims to foreground the paradigm shift and evolution of standardised models of museum management through the profound transformation of architectural designs, and their influence on the community and the urban environment. Currently, we are the champions of this change in the context of an information, knowledge and learning society, in which design and innovation are regarded as fundamental competitive elements. Creativity and exploration are highly valued skills, creativity being the capacity to generate new ideas or innovative applications of past ideas and to apply what is known to other contexts to provide useful responses. Raising awareness and appreciation of cultural heritage in all sectors of the population via the alternative exhibition of collections and their dissemination through communicative and commercial strategies bolsters the institutional apparatus, defines the artistic project and perpetuates the scientific communication of heritage. |
