Descripción
Sumario:Our spatial framework will be analyzed from the social representations during the 18th and 19th centuries, in which the importance of the roads in the mountain territory will be explained, this being a place that allowed the kingdom to administer the colony in one of the southernmost places on the American continent. Therefore, communication routes have represented a fundamental element in the research, given that the development of cities and roads constituted one of the most important issues for the administration for the kingdom. Therefore, the objective of this proposal is to analyze the roads and their circulation, from a historical-cultural perspective based on the identification of cultural processes linked to travel and cultural itineraries, in order to establish a contribution to the construction identity, and cultural appropriation, expressed through the characteristic environment of the city of Mendoza.
