Sumario:The neoliberal hegemony in argentina, effectively consolidated during the 1990s, recognizes a long process of historical construction. There is broad agreement that the founding moment of this process can be identified in the last civil-military dictatorship, especially in the general orientation of the economic policy imposed Martínez de Hoz between 1976 and 1981. At the same time, numerous studies point to coercion as the exclusive mechanism of domination and guarantee of imposition of the new budding economic order. within the framework of advances in the field of historiography, sociology and political science regarding the existence of various active consensus building devices on domination (hegemony) in the framework of state terrorism, this article it aims to deepen the study of the neoliberal intellectuals of the economy in their role as building assets of a new hegemonic project between 1976 and 1983.
