Sumario:The present article analyzes neocolonial Spanish style architecture in Mendoza, Argentina. This tendency emerged and became popular in the first half of the 20th century. For this study we relate architecture´s works and representations published in the press of the period that has the Hispanic theme in common. As a result we observe that, during the first decades of the 20th century, there was a notable interest in Spanish issue that was expressed through different supports that constitute an important heritage not studied by local historiography.
