Based on documentary and interpretive research that recovers the author's conceptual corpus, the aim of this paper is to show the implications of this theory, expose what each of these postulates implies, and reveal their potential for social theory. . It is concluded that Massey's represents a long-range epistemological formulation that has currently become a fundamental reference to explain the different phenomena related to space, and some other fundamental contemporary processes, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, a fact that has been It is approached as a closing with the intention of showing the validity and dynamism of its approaches. Entre las aportaciones más relevantes de Doreen Massey se encuentran las reflexiones que realizó sobre el espacio y que desarrolló paralelamente junto con su propuesta de las geometrías del poder, a partir de la cual lo concibe como: 1) relacional, 2) múltiple, y 3) abierto. Con base en una investigación de carácter documental e interpretativo que recupera el corpus conceptual de la autora, el objetivo de este trabajo es mostrar las implicaciones de esta teoría, exponer lo que supone cada uno de estos postulados, y revelar sus potencialidades para la teoría social. Se concluye que la de Massey representa una formulación epistemológica de largo alcance que actualmente se ha convertido en un referente fundamental para explicar los diferentes fenómenos relativos al espacio, y algunos otros procesos contemporáneos fundamentales, tales como la pandemia de Covid-19, hecho que se aborda a modo de cierre con la intención de mostrar la vigencia y dinamismo de sus planteamientos. Entre as contribuições mais relevantes de Doreen Massey estão suas reflexões sobre o espaço, que ela desenvolveu paralelamente à sua proposta das geometrias do poder, a partir das quais ela o concebe como: 1) relacional, 2) múltiplo e 3) aberto. Com base em uma pesquisa documental e interpretativa que recupera o corpus conceitual da autora, o objetivo deste artigo é mostrar as implicações dessa teoria, expor o que cada um desses postulados implica e revelar seu potencial para a teoria social. Conclui-se que a teoria de Massey representa uma formulação epistemológica de longo alcance que se tornou uma referência fundamental para explicar os diferentes fenômenos relacionados ao espaço e alguns outros processos que estão em pleno desenvolvimento, o que confirma a validade e o dinamismo de suas propostas.
