Sumario:The enactment of the National Law 26,150 of Integral Sex Education (ESI) in 2006 formalized the presence of sex education in schools while allowing to replenish in its approach some of the contributions built from gender and feminism studies. The ESI could be understood as the result of the convergence between the struggle of feminist movements and the political decision to accompany these demands from the legislative and executive power. In this paper, we intend to recover the crosses and interpellations that have occurred in recent history between formal education and gender and feminism studies as a review of the tensions that are currently going through the field of education. In particular, we will give an account of the discussions and challenges associated with the incorporation of the gender and feminist perspective that accompanied the deepening of the debate around the ESI, the new epistemologies that are beginning to challenge the knowledge of the school curriculum in dialogue with the contributions of decolonial, feminist and sexual dissent studies.
