Sumario: | Paula Ramirez's book: “An intercultural didactics in the training of university teachers. Conditions of possibility in Furilofche warria Wallmapu mew ”(consequence of her doctoral thesis) lucidly faces a critical and decolonizing path to the instrumental rationality implicit in teaching, particularly in hegemonic didactic theories. The writing is organized in an introduction, seven chapters and a section of conclusions, and covers four instances: 1) the place of enunciation of the study and its genealogy: Furilofche warria Wallmapu mew, the mapuy and the recognition of Mapuzungun, the Mapuche language as constitutive of a diverse and complex identity. 2) The contributions of peripheral critical theories with a focus on: the notion of interculturality in terms of political ontology, and criticism of Eurocentric thought; the idea of counter-modernity and the pedagogy of Freirean liberation. 3) The problematic field of General Didactics, the notion of device and the didactic-intercultural relationship, the link between interculturality and didactic knowledge, mapun kimün, knowledge in/with/from Wallmapu, 4) The public university, teacher training in the Wallmapu and the design of intercultural didactic devices, its ontological and autonomous dimension, the relational and the real, the certainties, the ñimiñkaley. |
