The most defining features of the voices in the novel are given from a central character, Pedro Páramo, throughout a fragmentary diegesis. This is due to the fact that Juan Rulfo exposes in his novel the last gasps of modernism while presenting a technique that are framed within postmodern forms. El presente artículo realiza un análisis de las relaciones de poder, las voces y las identidades que existen en la obra de Pedro Páramo a través de puntos de conexión que se establecen entre el cacique de la Media Luna y el resto de los personajes. Los rasgos definitorios de las voces en la novela se dan desde un personaje central, Pedro Páramo, mediante una diégesis fragmentaria. Esto se debe a que Juan Rulfo expone en su novela los últimos suspiros del modernismo a la vez que presenta una técnica que se encuadra dentro de las formas posmodernas.
