Sumario: | Terrorism is one of the most important phenomena in the political agendas of Western states in the last two decades; its constant media appearance, arises fear of attacks by extremist groups and creates the need to establish control policies that minimize its impact or, if possible, even prevent its existence. The present article aims to reflect on the dynamics of terror in political discourses, trying to understand the political problems of some social sectors that are critical of the established order and the repressive response of the states in the fight against terrorism. To do this, the present work will establish a dialogue with authors of the Frankfort School and thinkers such as Rancière, Žižek and Sousa Santos. |
