Sumario:This text emphasizes the ways in which women-made artistic productions are read, in an attempt to recover them from oblivion and revaluate them in the present. I try to unveil the limits, contradictions and/or possibilities that these efforts imply. I expose the visibility and recovery of woman artists as problematic, primarily because, paradoxically, the same vision, reading, circulation and exhibition methods established by and for the dominant and patriarchal canon are used for this purpose, without question. From this approach I highlight some contributions of feminist ideas and work in the field of art, that surpass the proposition of usual vision methods in the arts, focusing on expansive epistemological reflections which allow us to think about art as part of a network of relationships, tensions, and cultural conditioning.
