Sumario: | On March 8, 2018, the Second International Women’s Strike took place in about 55 countries. In Mendoza, Argentina, the collective Ni Una Menos designed a communication strategy for the strike call that was organized on two fronts: counter-hegemonic, alternative and street communication on the one hand; and communication for the hegemonic media with authorized voices of specialists with a staggered calendar of entry into the media agenda, on the other. We investigate here, through a dialogue with feminist activists and a discursive analysis of the journalistic coverage; the tools deployed and the unexpected alliances that allowed the urgent issues of the feminist agenda to enter the media propitiating a conversation between hegemonic journalism and feminist activism. |
