Sumario:This article intends to analyze the distinctive features and contrasts experienced within community processes promoted by various popular movements that emerged in recent decades in Latin America, taking into account their characteristics and specificities in both urban and rural areas, and the challenges that emerge from the intertwining of dynamics that condition their relationship with the State. The objective is to delimit the problematic knots and the most noteworthy edges that mark their repertoires of action, their organizational forms and the projects that they develop in their respective territories, in order to recreate and/or enhance community networks and fight against individualism, violation of their rights and marginalization.
