Sumario: | The last decades of the twentieth century witnessed the crisis of the paradigms that governed the scientific disciplines until then. Postmodernism imprinted its stamp on each of them and historiography did not escape its influence, which led to substantial transformations in the discipline whose consequences continue to this day.
The purpose of this paper was, first of all, to analyze the impact and consequences of postmodernity in Western historiography, especially in the development of the new cultural history and the strengthening of the history of women and, secondly, to examine the work by Michelle Perrot titled The Bedroom (PERROT, 2011) in the light of this disciplinary renewal and confluence of historiographical approaches. |
