Sumario:For two decades now, the urban space has increasingly become a commodity, the product of territorial transformations with the aim of obtaining the greatest possible economic benefit. The object of this investigation is the territorial transformations that impact on the functioning of the wetlands of the Hudson riparian zone (Partido de Berazategui), linked to the commodification and appropriation of that common good, to build closed aquatic urbanizations during neo-development. From the methodological point of view, to analyze this research, the analysis of journalistic publications was carried out in the various local and national media, together with the analysis of academic articles. On the other hand, field records were made, interviews with key informants, and direct observation in the field. A survey and analysis of official documents were also made, such as regulations, authorizations made, and the technical report that endorsed the projects.
