Sumario:Abstract This paper analyses the displacement of producers of Family Farming in the Escobar District, Buenos Aires province. To this end, the agricultural sector is characterized with the geographical location of the production units; and the regulatory framework of the Land Use Planning is studied and how municipal zoning involves land for agricultural use. The most important results indicate that the regulatory framework of the Land Use Planning of Escobar District is one that has driven a profound transformation in land use, promoting the advancement of urbanization, in particular the gated communities, in a first stage, from 2004 to 2010, in areas of wetlands and flood valleys and in a second stage, with the installation of private ventures in rural and periurban areas, where the Agricultural Exploitations of Family Farming that are engaged in the horticultural production, mostly of the Bolivian community. A qualitative-quantitative research methodology was used, through unstructured interviews, field visits, an extensive documentary research and the use of quantitative methods, basically with the use of Geographic Information Systems.
