A partir de las reflexiones de Jean-Marc Moura sobre la posibilidad de abordar el estudio de la literatura llamada francófona desde las teorías comparatistas y poscoloniales como perspectivas en parte concurrentes, nos proponemos dar  cuenta de la escritura de la senegalesa Ken Bugul en tanto producto híbrido entre dos mundos, resultado -conflictivo para la autora- del intercambio lingüístico y cultural entre su tierra natal y el Occidente europeo colonizador.
