Sumario:Based on the study of bolivian ultraism and its representative, Hilda Mundy, the following work presents a rereading and critical analysis of Pirotecnia. Ensayo miedoso de la Literatura Ultraísta (1936), the first and only work published in life, by the bolivian writer. We propose to reflect, from the perspective of feminist studies and gender theories, about the tensions and debates that within the literary system produces the appearance of this work and the logic by which it is marginalized from the canon of Latin American literary avant-gardes.
