Modifications affect, in an unequal way according to the edition, the description of the Grammar, on the one hand, and the reading texts, on the other, which serve in addition as the basis for speaking and writing activities. With regard to the reading texts, there is a high number of new incorporations in 1931 and substitutions in 1945 for historic reasons and, in 1965, due to the modernization at all social levels. From 1955 onwards, important changes are observed in the grammatical description and activity distribution, the work being revised from the didactic point of view. The journey through the editions of the Grammatica gives a glimpse of the transformation of the Italian and European value system over forty years, technological modernization and the advances in the didactics of teaching of Spanish to Italians. Este trabajo de investigación analiza las ediciones más relevantes (1931, 1945, 1955 y 1965) de la Grammatica spagnola de Lucio Ambruzzi desde su publicación en 1928 hasta 1971. Las modificaciones afectan, de manera desigual según sea la edición, a la descripción de la gramática, por un lado, y a los textos de lectura, por otro, que sirven, además, de base para las actividades de conversación y redacción. Respecto a los textos de lectura, hay un elevado número de nuevas incorporaciones en 1931 y de sustituciones en 1945 por motivos históricos y en 1965 a causa de la modernización en todos los órdenes sociales. A partir de 1955 se observan cambios importantes en la descripción gramatical y en la distribución de las actividades, renovando la obra desde el punto de vista didáctico. El recorrido través de las ediciones de la Grammatica deja entrever la transformación del sistema de valores italianos y europeos a lo largo de cuarenta años, la modernización tecnológica y los avances en la didáctica de la enseñanza de español a italohablantes.
