Sumario: | From the consolidation of fruit growing in Mendoza during the 1930s, a group of businessmen and producers were identified in the sector, with a multiplicity of interests and demands. With them, the emergence of different trade entities is verified. The number and simultaneity of these institutions allows anticipating conflicting or at least fragmentary interests. In 1938 the provincial State proposed the formation of the Corporation of Fruit Growers of Mendoza, whose main objective was to facilitate the commercialization of the fruit in the national market - in front of the competition of other regional productions - and thus encourage the consumption of a product that does not It was widespread in the diet of the popular sectors.In this article we will provide a first overview of the entrepreneurs that energized the sector, and what were the associative mechanisms that generated each other and with the State. |
