Sumario:This paper pretends to debate the forensic’s role on sex crimes investigations and trials during the last part of the XIXth century and early XXth century in Buenos Aires (city and province), ugar en Buenos Aires (provincia y ciudad).I try to show that this particular character had more than a merely formal part, being a central piece to solve the case, having also a subtler role that I’ll analyze further: he is one that helps to create the idea of an "acceptable" victim (or not).On this article I only work with those forensics that were actual doctors, who shared with lawyers academic knowledge and the experience of college, this made easier to share readings and common ground which makes for similar ideas on honor, family social functions, sex crimes and, I propose, "acceptable" victims on this cases. The sources read were judicial case files, doctrine and jurisprudence as well as forensic textbooks, all these to try to put emphasis on the relationship between theory and practice.
