Sumario:With this article we intend to show those modifications of the Argentine pension system from the start of the Pension Inclusion Plan and the insertion of the housewife as a direct beneficiary, specifically in San Juan.To meet this goal, we selected a data reading strategy offered by INDEC -Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos- and ANSES -Administración Nacional de Seguridad Social - on the influence that this measure had on the realities of older San Juan women, during the period 2004-2016. In this sense, we took into account the following variables: position of women in the home -heads and spouses- and employment status. In particular, we focus on those who are in a situation of social vulnerability. To achieve this, we used demographic indicators that allowed us to describe the Argentine Social Security System from a journey through its history and some of the measures that have gone through it.
