Sumario:The present work, based on a historical-structural perspective of Latin American roots and reflective Bourdian sociology, addresses the process of institutionalization of internationalization at the National University of Cuyo (UNCuyo). We focus on one of the main policies of the area - international academic mobility - through the Teaching Mobility Program of this university, which, since 2015, has shown unprecedented growth. To this end, we try to outline the mechanisms established by the UNCuyo for internationalization and build profiles of teachers who access scholarships in connection with differentiated institutional and evaluative practices. In the same way, we try to connect the choice of mobility destinations based on the capitals and habitus of teachers. Based on a strong documentary analysis, which involved the search for secondary sources and primary documentary sources (resolutions, ordinances, strategic plans, management reports, minutes of selection of scholarship competitions, etc.), together with qualitative access (in-depth interviews with key informants such as the institutional and management managers of the UNCuyo mobility programs). Likewise, it was methodologically completed with participant observation in instances of evaluation of applications for mobility grants (both for teachers and for students).
