Sumario:The crisis of the Fordist model in the Mendoza wine circuit, in parallel with the modification of the accumulation regime at the national level, drastically modified the form of State intervention in the circuit. This article analyzes the transformation of the intervention of the State as an economic agent, taking as cases of analysis the provincial state company "Bodegas y Viñedos Giol" during the traditional or Fordist wine model, and the municipal winery "Raíces de Junín",emerged in 2018 in the east of Mendoza, during the post-Fordist model. The changes in the model of accumulation and regulation of the circuit prompted economic agents to develop new strategies that permeated in a differential wayat the various institutional levels. From this analysis, it is clear that the most disadvantaged agents in the different models of accumulation need the State as an economic agent to twist the regulatory inertia when the accumulation modeldoes not favor them and not lose positions in the capture of surpluses. However, they resort to various institutional levels, due to the strategic selectivity of the State.
