Sumario:Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a type of viral pneumonia originating in Wuhan, China, in December 2019, which is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The emergence of SARS-CoV-2 has been marked as the third introduction of a highly pathogenic coronavirus to the human population after the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) and the Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV). in the XXI century. The COVID-19 epidemic was declared by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a public health emergency of international concern on January 30, 2020. SARS-CoV-2 quickly began to spread globally, and the On March 11, 2020, the WHO officially declared the disease a pandemic. So far SARSCoV- 2 has created around 63 million infected worldwide, and almost 1.5 million deaths. In this review we will address the molecular characteristics of the virus pathogenesis, and iwe will determine the types of diagnosis and treatment according to do to the scientific reports available so far.
