Sumario: | An overview of the development of theatre during the 1900s shows
as fundamental fact, perhaps as the turnig point, the well-known
dialectics between text and stage. Nowadays, however, at least in
Argentina, the signs of a synthesis seem to be appearing and there are
many authors staging their texts, actors helping in writing, directors
assuming their condition of playwrights by publishing their works after
they have been performed.
This paper discusses Sacha Barrera Oro’s production which recently
appeared in the Mendocinian theatrical field, joins together the dramaturgical
and directorial practices. After a brief biographical sketch,
we will define the basal principles of his theatrical poetics.
