Sumario:This paper reveals tensions existing in the university campus which influence communication among full-time professors. This tensions enable or difficult to obtain agreements in order to coordinate actions. The analytical framework was made of federal educative policies, especially the Program for Development of Professors (PRODEP) profile. The way of working of professors, associated in academic corps (CA) was investigated. 24 exhaustive interviews were carried out among teachers from six schools at the UAQ. Results showed communication difficulties among professor in stablishing common tasks. Communication directed to agreement was not the most common practice.  It is describe how academics, adopt, adapt or resist normative-working conditions for teamwork. Based on data, it is suggested complex communication form that makes possible encounter through recognition of the other and the otherness. Complex communication form, that support the tension agree-disagree, as a condition of negotiation understanding to coordinate actions.
