Sumario: | This article analyzes the metaphorical configuration of fragmentation in the novel Museo de la Bruma (2019) by the Chilean writer Galo Ghigliotto from the intersection between literary practices and social discourses. The hypothesis maintains that the notion of fragment interweaves diverse temporalities and territorialities that allude to writing as a political device and to the construction of collective memories on which the idea of nation is sustained. The analysis is presented in two large sections referring to the fragmentation of the story and the fragmentation of the narrative plot. Finally, a series of reflections are noted about the dialogue between memory, writing and poetic imagination. |
