The paper presented here is made up of the story of a student experience, typical of the daily school life of a high school in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. From this, I elaborate some reflections on the current social and cultural context in key: thinking the time, to finish with some ideas and analytical reflections on the school in the contemporary landscape. The analysis is based on my master's thesis; other reflections arose from its elaboration, from talks, debates and exchanges carried out in the school, its corridors and classrooms and in conversations with colleagues and classmates, who were deepening conceptualizations and complexifying views, in the sense that knowledge is built collectively. I raise some of these ideas here to give theoretical support to the essay. El escrito aquí presentado está conformado por el relato de una experiencia estudiantil, propia de la cotidianeidad escolar de un secundario de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. A partir de esto, elaboro algunas reflexiones del contexto social y cultural actual en clave: pensar la época, para finalizar con algunas ideas y reflexiones analíticas sobre la escuela en el paisaje contemporáneo. El análisis se apoya en mi tesis de maestría, otras reflexiones surgieron a partir de su elaboración, de charlas, debates e intercambios realizados en la escuela, sus pasillos y aulas y en conversaciones con colegas, compañeras y compañeros, que fueron profundizando conceptualizaciones y complejizando miradas, en esto de que al saber se lo construye colectivamente. Planteo algunas de estas ideas aquí para darle sustento teórico al ensayo.
