The present work addresses some questions that have arisen in the framework of the realization of a doctoral thesis, whose central objective is the collective construction of knowledge within the framework of a training in Popular Education. The systematization of experiences is the appropriate resource for this purpose since, as a method of educational social research, it is capable of constructing academic knowledge while allowing to theorize aspects and problems of reality from the perspective of the subjects.
In Argentine public universities, within the research methodologies of the investigation, the systematization of experiences was present as a method until the 1980s, but then it began to be considered an instrumental aspect of the analysis of information; blurring its true political potential that is the collective construction of knowledge. However, its development continued outside the academy in popular education organizations and entities. To account for this process, a journey is carried out that shows the solidity of his approach as a form of knowledge.
Taking into account that, from the 90s, the advance of the neoliberal project introduced substantial changes in the Science and Technology agendas of Argentine national universities, possible relationships between the scarce reference to the systematization of experiences and the current administrativescientific structure of our universities are analyzed, who operate as a disciplinarian of the investigative processes. Finally, there are some pending discussions and challenges to be assumed in social science research. |

El presente trabajo aborda algunos interrogantes surgidos en el marco de la realización de una tesis doctoral, cuyo objeto central es la construcción colectiva de conocimientos en el marco de una formación en Educación Popular. La sistematización de experiencias es el recurso adecuado para tal fin puesto que, como método de investigación social educativa, es capaz de construir conocimiento académico, a la vez que permite teorizar aspectos y problemas de la realidad desde la perspectiva de los sujetos.En las universidades públicas argentinas, dentro de las metodologías de la investigación, la sistematización de experiencias estuvo presente como método hasta los años ´80, pero luego comenzó a ser considerada un aspecto instrumental del análisis de la información; desdibujando su verdadero potencial político que es la construcción colectiva de conocimientos. Sin embargo, su desarrollo continuó al margen de la academia en las organizaciones y entidades de educación popular. Para dar cuenta de ese proceso, se realiza un recorrido que evidencia la solidez de su planteo como forma de conocimiento.Teniendo en cuenta que, a partir de los ´90, el avance del proyecto neoliberal introdujo cambios sustanciales en las agendas de Ciencia y Técnica de las universidades nacionales argentinas, se analizan posibles relaciones entre la escasa referencia a la sistematización de experiencias y la actual estructura administrativa-científica de nuestras universidades, que opera como un disciplinador de los procesos investigativos. Finalmente, se plantean algunas discusiones pendientes y desafíos a asumir en la investigación de las cienciassociales. Este trabalho aborda algumas questões que surgiram no âmbito da realização de uma tese de doutorado, cujo objetivo central é a construção coletiva do conhecimento no âmbito de uma formação em Educação Popular. A sistematização de experiências é o recurso adequado para esse fim, uma vez que, como método de pesquisa social educacional, é capaz de construir conhecimentos acadêmicos ao mesmo tempo que permite teorizar aspectos e problemas da realidade na perspectiva dos sujeitos. Nas universidades públicas argentinas, dentro das metodologias de pesquisa, a sistematização de experiências esteve presente como método até a década de 1980, mas posteriormente passou a ser considerada um aspecto instrumental da análise de informação; obscurecendo seu verdadeiro potencial político, que é a construção coletiva do conhecimento. No entanto, seu desenvolvimento continuou fora da academia em organizações e entidades de educação popular. Para explicar esse processo, é realizado um percurso que mostra a solidez de sua abordagem como forma de conhecimento. Levando em consideração que, a partir dos anos 90, o avanço do projeto neoliberal introduziu mudanças substanciais nas agendas de Ciência e Tecnologia dasuniversidades nacionais argentinas, analisam-se possíveis relações entre a escassa referência à sistematização de experiências e a atual estrutura administrativa-científica de nossas universidades, que atua como disciplinador dos processos investigativos.
