Sumario: | The University Reform, in its multifaceted complexity, raised several approaches which fuelled constantly the possibility of exploring new edges. Being one of its constitutive features the presence of a new generation conformed by young people who embraced the philosophical idealism, individual trajectories of this precise universe still contain questions to unveil. In this sense, we will analyse here pieces of works written by José Gabriel which were located in the axis of reformist thought, and, where a strong review of Positivism became critique of emerging Eugenics, understood as the product of a way of doing science with high signs of hypocrisy. |
